I were to uninstall kdemod today. Started with
y -Rd kdemod-uninstall
(y alias for yaourt)
at the end it said
Packages that were installed as dependencies but are no longer required by any installed package:
akonadi
chmlib
cyrus-sasl
ebook-tools
enchant
flex
gpgme
grub
hicolor-icon-theme
libcaptury
libdjvu
libgpod
libical
libmsn
libnjb
libotr
libspectre
libxklavier
libxres
libxss
lm_sensors
loudmouth
openexr
openldap
ortp
phonon
poppler-qt
pyqt
qca
qimageblitz
rarian
sane
soprano
strigi
subversion
tunepimp
i thought, well lets uninstall them then
y -Rd akonadi chmlib cyrus-sasl ebook-tools enchant flex gpgme grub hicolor-icon-theme libcaptury libdjvu libgpod libical libmsn libnjb libotr libspectre libxklavier libxres libxss lm_sensors loudmouth openexr openldap ortp phonon poppler-qt pyqt qca qimageblitz rarian sane soprano strigi subversion tunepimp
I then realized that what i just did may be pretty bad, and Im not corageous enough to reboot until someone tells me that everything is safe or after i have reinstalled that...
Should i just go with
y -S akonadi chmlib cyrus-sasl ebook-tools enchant flex gpgme grub hicolor-icon-theme libcaptury libdjvu libgpod libical libmsn libnjb libotr libspectre libxklavier libxres libxss lm_sensors loudmouth openexr openldap ortp phonon poppler-qt pyqt qca qimageblitz rarian sane soprano strigi subversion tunepimp
and turn all .pacsaves back?

'grub' won't need all the stuff you had listed here. A simple
$ yaourt -S grub
should be enough to get you back up and running with it. You shouldn't have to re-run it though - I think once you have the stage files present in the /boot/grub directory I think that you'd be all set.

grub isn't required... lilo works too.
Your best/only option is to reinstall what you need and restore pacsaves.

hicolor-icon-theme is a fallback or default for most icon themes if you use icons in anything...
