I've been experimenting with different WMs and awesome caught my eye. However, when I tried altering the rc.lua (I used this) I messed something up. When I log in (using Slim) all I get is a cursor, and nothing loads. I am unable to launch or do anything. From what I understand, awesome should be loading the default configuration instead of doing nothing. (Furthermore, I don't get any error messages)
This has happened before, but beforehand I could log into root and delete the rc.lua, which I can't do with Slim.
Basically, I was wondering if its possible to boot into runlevel 3 from grub or delete the file from the livecd.
Edit:
Well, I'm an idiot. Second time I've managed to make an utter fool of myself... In case anyone else who is just as clueless as me:
Use the livecd, login, then just mount /dev/sdaX (partition number) /mnt/
Then delete the config file. Unmount, reboot, and the problem is solved...
