how to make tremulous take advantage of dual screens?

i have a dual setup. running at 2880*900 when i run tremulous it ends up with a tiny window in the middle, and black bars around the side

is there any way to manualy set the resolution in tremulous?

or are there any other FPS games that you would recommend that support twinview?

Thanks Markp1989

Re: how to make tremulous take advantage of dual screens?

Which package are you using, tremulous, or tremulous-updated?
Try setting r_width and r_height in autoexec.cfg, and r_fullscreen 1 (IIRC)
If you're using the ancient stock one, r_customwidth and r_customheight instead.

Re: how to make tremulous take advantage of dual screens?

i just changed the metamodes line as following, normaly runs at 2880*900 split across 2 screens, and when i run games fullscreen at 1024x768, then it disables the 2nd monitor.

 Option "metamodes" "CRT-0: nvidia-auto-select +0+0, CRT-1: nvidia-auto-select +1440+0;CRT-0: 1024x768 +0+0, null "

i would like to get the game split across 2 screens, but this is the best i can get for now .
