Looking for Lightweight Desktop with Widgets

Apparently I still cannot fix the kbuildsycoca4 problem... So I'm deciding to switch to another desktop environment/properly configured window manager that takes a short time to set up.

I must be able to use some desktop widgets or have Launchy...so what do you think I should use?

You might like lxde. It's pretty easy to set up and has a decent collection of widgets.

Ah, okay. I'll keep that in mind. Right now, I'm trying openbox by itself.

Then you'll be right at home with it when you need a panel.

big_smile Apparently setting it up isn't as horrific as I thought!
