Not sure just why Debian would do this and dealing with compatibility issues would be a nightmare. I've used FreeBSD before and I like the kernel alot, maybe ppl need pf in linux.

Think of it more as he created a new account to post this comment... We ban by IP so that is not going to save you.
I don't care, but it will show who's idiot here. Can you show me what's wrong in my comment? sand_man, Misfit138? You probably can't. Oh, and I just wanted to use same nick here and there. You sound really funny.

Perhaps the hint I provided was slightly subtle, so I will be more blunt... I did mention banning so think about that and get your act together if you want keep using the forum.
Can you show me what's wrong in my comment?
Where to start:
1) it was a big troll...
2) You say freebsd had 600 bug reports open. You mean the whole distro or just for their kernel? The linux kernel has many times more so if we a using a good old flawed metric of number of bug opened, the freebsd one is more stable and secure
3) Who said the arch devs were going to do this? There is a ppc port that is not officially supported
4) why would we go to the freebsd forums and ask for freelinux? It is Arch users bringing this up. We will let the bsd users decide what they want.
5) I doubt an Arch BSD would satisfy bsd fanboys, especially given it would probably focus on a GNU userland.

It was just response to unproven myths.

Don't make me laugh please. I was talking about stable release not development one as you're suggesting (stable Linux kernel has usually maybe 30). You can easly check this. Freebsd 6.x had over six hundred open bugs.

Only I and maybe someone else, but I don't know this.

It was irony to show how this thread is stupid.

So for what is this thread?
