No wifi when rebooting, after installation using wifi...

Hello smile
After the desktop, the laptop smile

I've just installed Arch on my laptop (FTP ISO) using wifi smile
Before installing, I join my Wifi acess point using "iwconfig wlan0 essid...channel...key"
It worked perfectly, installation: OK

But I've rebooted, and when I type "iwconfig" It doesn't work now.
I think I need wifi dedicated packet, but I don't know what are their name.

"lspci" detects my wireless chipset (rt61)
Also try to do "ifconfig wlan0 up" => Not work tongue

Could someone help me please ?
Thanks smile

In the installer, where you select packages, make sure that you check to install the package that contains your wifi diriver. What chipset is your card?

Re: No wifi when rebooting, after installation using wifi...

My card is rt61 based.
Installed the rt2x00-rt61-fw packet (while connection with RJ45)
Did "ifconfig wlan0 up"

But on each boot, I have to type "ifconfig wlan0 up".
I don't know why :S

http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Netcfg    <- link to netcfg

You need to set up /etc/rc.conf to bring that network interface up when you boot. Netcfg is the easiest way to do that IMO.
