Weird error with eclipse

Eclipse can only run with the sudo option, which is very annoying because I have to use terminal to launch it and enter a password. Without sudo it give me an error and this log:

Btw, does anyone know why compositing with compiz is so slow? I resize or maximize and it just lags. I have xf86-video-ati installed.

I am doing what some other post around here recommended, untarring the eclipse_cdt tarball and running it directly (from ~/bin/whatever), it works, I had a problem with the package too.

^^ Yeah, I thought I would have to do that.

It probably installed incorrectly but pacman -Rsn doesn't remove it correctly, because when I install it again, it doesnt want to add itself back into gnome's programming menu.
