Acroread 9 makes X to freeze.

When running Acroread 9 X freezes. If I restart X it will freeze again upon Acroread. I have to restart the system to make it work properly. And then (it seems to be random) after opening some files it will freeze again. I downgraded to Acroread 8. Is it working properly for you?

Running from console doens't return anything.

I did experience an X freeze immediately after installing acroread 9 on a 64-bit system two days ago, but not ever since.
Yet, I probably didn't use it often enough.
