Hey, I'm using a linksys WUSB54g wireless usb-adapter (chip: rt2570), which worked in the past with kernel26 and the built-in ralink driver. After the upgrade to 2.6.29 I can't connect to my AP anymore. I downgraded to 2.6.28 and everything is fine again. Under 2.6.29 the settings seem to be okay and no special error occurs, however, I can't connect to the network.
Someone with similar experiences?

Are you using netcfg? Looked for any relevant errors in the logs ?

Does the kernel see the device?
If yes, will the device scan ("iwlist scan")?
If yes so far, If you manually try to connect via iwconfig and/or ifconfig and/or dhcpcd, what happens?

I'm using NetworkManager. The kernel detects the card via lsusb and I can scan for networks. 'iwlist scan' finds my AP correctly, but I can't connect. If I set the option manually (essid, WPA-key, mode) after a 'ifconfig wlan0 down', they are listed in iwconfig, then I try to connect via dhcpcd. And now iwconfig can't display the options anymore. Same problem after 'ifconfig wlan0 up'.
It seems that the options get lost during the connection-process.

*bump* Everything works fine with WEP encryption. Never had a problem with WPA and the built-in ralink kernel driver in connection with NetworkManager before...
