qt toolkit takes hours to install?

I read on this http://www.zetcode.com/articles/qt4/ that it takes qt hours to install. Isn't there s a package out there that is already compiled? It's taking a while and I was expecting to learn qt right away as I don't have much time until spring break is over. sad

With the normal QT package from Arch you can program and test with QT. smile

Re: qt toolkit takes hours to install?

the qt package is the toolkit as well?

Then how do I get #include <QApplication> to work?

This stuff is very confusing, I just want to move beyond shell programming with cout..
