Audio auto tag

I was wondering if there was something with an auto tag (artitst/album/year/track/ etc..) for mp3's/m4a's etc.. that you guys know of. For now, I am having to use winamp on another box and have it auto tag for me.

Easytag can use cddb information, and is a generally powerful tagging tool.

can easytag do a whole directory of audio? like the winamp auto tag gracenote feature?

From what I remember, if you specify your layout format (e.g. artist/album/track. title.format), easytag will automatically tag the files as needed.

Easytag can do a whole directory and subdirectories.

was looking at the app, it does not do what I need, I have alot of fully untagged files, I need it to sample the file, check an online database and then get the info from the net and add the id3 like the winamp auto id3 tag feature. then ill go away
