After updating to 2.6.29 kernel, I got a "FATAL: wlan module not found" during boot, then I can't connect to any wireless network.

Intel WiFi card also. I couldn't even boot the system! It hangs after loading GDM and starts reporting some errors (something like "iwl3945 microcode error: -2")...
I had to disable built-in wifi and dual CPU support, both in bios - and I managed to boot the system. Otherwise, it won't boot. >:(

wow... I dont use gdm, but i could boot... i fowled a a topic somewhere that said that i should install crda, and then edit /etc/conf.d/wireless-regdom and uncomment your country.
