acer_wmi causing ~7% CPU-load

Hi!

I just found out that loading the acer_wmi module (which happens automatically during bootup) makes randomly one of the two processes "events/0" and "events/1" producing about 7% cpu-load. Unloading the module makes the load disappear.

Any suggestions on this? I checked dmesg and all the logs of course, but found nothing suspicious...

I'm using an Acer Aspire 5685WLMi notebook on x86_64 with kernel26 2.6.29.1-3.
