fs type udf not supported by kernel.. ???

hey, i'm here again...  wink

well, when i try to mount a dvd it gives me a
'fs type udf not supported by kernel' ...

do i have to build a new kernel for udf-filesystem or what's up?

please say no! i'm too lazy to do it...  big_smile

udf support is not compiled into the kernel and is generally not needed for viewing dvds. Nor is mounting the dvd necessary.

uuuups, i forgot. i knew i some time ago, but because i had supermount under mandrake i began to thought that a dvd needs to be mounted to view it... mandrake s*cks ;-)
