Problem With User Permission

Hello All:)
I am Newbie here At Arch. i Shifted Platform from windows to Archlinux i try fedora. but now i have problem with doing some work like poweroff, mount for that i have to use su coomand boz when i gave this command "poweroff" its shows the error

[arunix@marxc ~]$ poweroff
poweroff: must be superuser.

and another probelm is when i start arch its time changes evry time i set it in BIOS but it stills varing

That's how it is supposed to be on a multiuser system.
If you do "sudo poweroff" it will work - as long as you are included in the sudo'er file.
The same goes for 'mount' though there are several ways to ensure mounting - read the wiki ...
