I installed aspell, aspell-en, hunspell , ooo, firefox.
I installed extention in OOO via Tools->Extension Manager (/opt/openoffice/share/extensions/install, cannot remember the exact path).
I enabled spell check in OOO's bottom tab(3rd), to English(Australia), I reinstalled hunspell.
It still does not work.

useless for the stable OOo pkg. OOo 3.0.1 only uses hunspell. what version of hunspell and OOo are you running?
Offline
openoffice-base 3.0.1-1
hunspell 1.2.8-1
do I have to install some dictionaries for hunspell, just like aspell-en for aspell?
Thanks !!!

Thanks, but it does not work, furthermore, I've already added the extension in /opt/openoffice/share/extensions/install/...
