After upgrade, I got a window saying that kdm did not find the theme Arch grey. So edit, with nano, /usr/share/config/kdm/kdmrc and change the theme to oxygen (look for the line beginning by "theme", towards the end, and change the last work by "oxygen"). Then reboot.

Hmm.. I did not experience this. Though I remembered renewing my old kdmrc with the new one saved as .pacsave. A reminder perhaps to merge these configs b4 it scews up something big. Yaourt -C might help.

I had this problem as well and it puzzled me for a little bit.
My old kdmrc stopped working, so I switched it to the new kdmrc (i.e. moved kdmrc.pacnew to kdmrc). Then, I got the error that you mentioned. I then installed archlinux-themes-kdm to get the Arch theme (instead of switching back to Oxygen, but it doesn't matter what you do).
The package should be repackaged with a kdmrc that uses the Oxygen theme by default or archlinux-themes-kdm should be added as a dependency.

Never saw it...though I use KDEmod, with Oxygen theming.
