Looking for good & affordable USB-Soundcard

Hi everyone,

since my Notebook only has Analog Stereo Output and Digital Output via HDMI I'm looking for an external USB-Soundcard to extend that functionality.

It should offer at least:

* Analog multi-channel output (5.1 - 7.1)
* Digital output via SPDIF (preferably coaxial and optical)
* works with Arch Linux smile
* ac3/DTS passthrough (if possible at all, with USB-Devices)
* should cost <=50€ (~65$ USD)

I'm going to use the digital SPDIF output most of the time but nonetheless the card should offer good signal quality on the analog outputs as well.

Do any of you Linux audio gurus know if ac3/DTS pass-through works with USB-Devices?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.:D
