[solved] stale NFS file handle

hi!

i've got a problem here I cannot solve. since yesterday, I cannot connect because of a DNS problem. Actually, the file /etc/resolv.conf has the following error: "Stale NFS file handle".
Also, when I boot, the same error message appears for the /etc/localtime file.
They're not on a NTFS partition.

I tried to run a fsck or e2fsck on the root partition but I'm advised that doing so on a mounted partition may cause severe damage, so I decided to look further for help before doing so.

any help?

Re: [solved] stale NFS file handle

solved, simply ran e2fsck at boot.
