[SOLVED] Nautilus Not Respawning

Ever since the update to Gnome 2.26, nautilus has not been starting with my sessions as I log in (I can tell as it does not show my desktop).

Here is where it gets a bit stranger. I use AWN and it has an icon for the nautilus File Browser, the same as found under System Tools. If AWN started with the session I can click that icon and nautilus will show the desktop. It does not open a file browser window--it hasn't for a while, even before when nautilus was starting with the session. If I kill the nautilus process, at this point, it does not respawn as it used to.

The other case is if I start AWN manually--say if I killed the instance that began with the session. At this point clicking the file browser icon will open a file browser window as it should. But, the desktop does not show.

I'm stumped. Any ideas?

Edit: So, I have no idea what the issue was, but deleting my .nautilus folder did the trick. The AWN problem is something else, but I can live with that.
