I just updated Arch, which resultet in most of my modules went missing. I've read that a lot of people had problems with wireless and the only step needed was modprobe ath5k (which is the card I use) but when I try to do it I get: module ath5k could not be found. The same goes for all my sound modules.
Any ideas on how to solve this. (My eth0 is gone aswell, so I'm pretty locked down )
Thanks.
Martin.

Can these modules be found in /lib/modules/KERNELVER/kernel/drivers ? If not something went wrong during kernel update, u could try to downgrade kernel version...

depmod -a and reboot

Thanks for the help.
But the way I solved it was to visit a pacman mirror and download the kernel and kernel-firmware from there and do pacman -U package.pkg.tar.gz
It installed the new kernel with the modules and then all my problems were solved.
Thanks for your time.
