Which panels have these applets besides KDE(mod)4 and KDEMod3? (KDE4 broke my system last time by f*****g my .desktop files...in EVERYWHERE)
@ Color picker: gnome-panel (no package yet, I think)
@ Dictionary (type in and press enter): gnome-panel
@ Calculator (just a box to type in expressions and get answer, must be better four function calculator): gnome-panel (unconfirmed)

OK, I'll say GNOME then...

Yeah...but I can't seem to find the calculator one. Also, the gnome-settings daemon takes forever to quit in a stand-alone Openbox or PekWM configuration running gnome-panel. I need to find an easier way to configure my GTK+ colors without the gnome-settings-daemon. :S
Also...I'm looking for these applets because it feels extremely awkward to not have them lying around O______o

ShadowKyogre: Why not use lxappearance, or one of the many other tools that writes directly to ~/.gtkrc-2.0 ?

It only works for the engine and icons, not the actual color schemes. I haven't seen anything that actually writes to the gtkrc-2.0 file yet.
