[Solved] Playing MP3 files in Totem with xine backend

If I use Totem with gstreamer MP3 files can played. But when I use the xine engine with Totem, it will not work, because xine-lib doesn't support MP3 files. Is there I way to get it to work?

Edit:
The solution was the remove the xine catalog cache:

rm -f ~/.xine/catalog.cache

After a restart of xine it works fine.
