Unable to suspend to disk (uswsusp and s2disk)

I'm unable to get s2disk working.
Being configured as described in wiki (http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/S2disk) and run(with sudo), it fails with the following message:

"s2disk: Could not stat the snapshot device file. Reason: No such file or directory"

/etc/suspend.conf content is:

snapshot device = /dev/snapshot
resume device = /dev/sda2

I suspect it's all about /dev/snapshot, because there is no such folder, but creating it and running s2disk gives

s2disk: Invalid snapshot device

Am i missing something?
