I have flex installed on my system and it works well.
However the documentation (texinfo files) has not been installed and I cannot find a separate package to get the documentation.
Any help or hint?
Thanks

As I have experienced it, ArchLinux tends to not serve you with man pages or documentation. I think I've somewhere read this to be related to the KISS principle in the sense of "You can and probably
will read it on the web anyway, so why install the docs?".
Looking at the flex package's files, I can see that only a man page should be installed for flex (man 1 flex) if everything is set up correctly. To look up the documentation, I'll suggest you take a look at
http://dinosaur.compilertools.net/ and if you need the documentation where you're not online, just copy the site with wget.
If you know that the documentation is shipped with the original sources and you only want that source and want it installed in your system's folders rather than in a user directory, you might take a look
at the flex package's PKGBUILD file and adapt it to your needs.

Thanks for the info.
I am often offline, so I need the documentation installed.
I am going to install the info files from the original tarball.
