[solved] cant mount LVM partition

HI, i try to recover my raid, lvm arch instalation at work, till now I have managed to recognize the lvm partitions, but when I try to mount it to be able to move my recovery further I get an errr

mount /dev/array/boot /mnt/data
mount: you must specify a filesystem type

but when I try to specify it by adding a -t but then

mount: /dev/array/boot is not a valid block devie

any help?

ok scratch that, the partirions to mount are in /dev/mapper/name
