Strange artefacts on 2nd monitor in kdm and while logging in

Hello there,

since about 2 weeks during a upgrade I've got  strange artefacts like it's shown in the attachet image when starting kdm and during login.
I have have got nvidia geforce 8600 gt  with 2 monitors (17 & 22") configured as twinview and use latest stable kde 4.2.2.

I have not looked excatly which package was updated when this problem appears but can it have sth to do with the updated  xorg server 1.6? For anny suggestions I would be galde how I can solve this problem or what the problem excat is... because this looks really ugly.

Thanks for your help!

Frank

Re: Strange artefacts on 2nd monitor in kdm and while logging in

I have the same problem. The most strange thing is that when I logged to another installation where I'm using slim for login and when I come back to main installation with kdm, I saw scratched slim background. I think that is some problem with graphic card buffor or something like that because when I turn off the computer and turn on I don't see slim background when I'm logging using KDM. Unfortunetly I saw another artefacts wink
I have only one monitor and I have nvidia gf 8800gt.
