fbsplash and very very verbose mode

Hi,

I installed fbsplash and now when I am in X11 and I press F2 i get console and verbose mode of fbsplash, why that is happening? how can i disable a feature like that?

I have actually no answer on your question, but I have another one
How did you install fbsplash? If I do yaourt -S fbsplash, then my initscripts fail and
I can't get to the console at all. Must use a bootdisk then to uninstall fbsplash to
make my machine boot again, I was using http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Fbsplash to
install fbsplash w/o fbcondecor.

I don't use it anymore, since i've never managed to solve the problem above. Then I installed it using yaourt.
