I have arch+lxde on, and use inconsolata font. Under windows xp, inconsolata just use normal and seems fine, but in lxde,
I should choose bold.
What is the problem ? Due to LCD hinting or the font different ?

Great! Same look like windows!
Another question: I use lxde. Below is the config for lxde :
[GTK]
sNet/ThemeName=MyTheme02
sNet/IconThemeName=nuoveXT2
sGtk/FontName=Inconsolata Medium 11
iGtk/ToolbarStyle=0
sGtk/FileChooserBackend=
iGtk/ButtonImages=1
iGtk/MenuImages=1
iXft/Antialias=1
See "iXft/Antialias=1". Should I turn it down for better font look ?

I have tried.
If I turned off antialias, font become terrible look. So I left it on.
