Undervolting a intel core 2 duo.

So, I want to undervolt my CPU to lower my temps and increase my battery lifetime. But I can't find any good guides how to. So do you guys have any idea? I know that it won't increase my battery life much, but it is still so worth it.

I believe this was only possible with Pentium-M and doesn't work anymore with the Core processors.

I've heard that it is possible, but not to volt it lower than in it's lowest state. Like you can't go under the default value for 800Mhz @ 1200Mhz.

What about phc-intel? I don't use it so I can't help but It's in my Todo list - in case you get lucky with that I'd be thankful for you to share.
