For those of you that don't know what ldc is, its a llvm front-end for D. There is a package for it in aur, and looks legit enough looking at the comment and dependances, but the package doesn't seem to install ldc. There is no ldc binary (there should be one, i looked that up). The PKGBUILD doesn't seem to strip anything out either.
So whats up with that? Unless I'm missing something, I'm willing to provice an actual ldc package if that one is broken. It's out of date anyways.

is this linked to the "ldc : needs llvm=2.4" error message when updating? In this case, I would be really interested in having a solution... For what I saw, llvm is missing in aur, that's why I can't install ldc.

I'm still trying to solve the following issue when doing any kind of update or package installation using pacman (obviously) :
satisfaction of dependency failed ::ldc: needs llvm=2.4
when trying to yaourt llvm, I get :
llvm not found in AUR.
would you have any idea why, and how to solve it? I don't get why it's not found in AUR, given the link you just provided...
