question on Arch Maintainer and Trusted User

I don't know if this section is right. BTW: I ask myself as the maintainer do to upgrade their package! As you know, there are maintainer (and TU) who maintain 100-200 packages. I don't think they check 200 mailing list for update smile. Is there any software?

you could subscribe to this http://distrowatch.com/news/dwp.xml as a starting point. for more obscure apps, then MLs + frequent website checks + community will help.

Re: question on Arch Maintainer and Trusted User

I check the mailing lists for the "core" packages I maintain (being only somewhat related to the core repo...).  Then, the community does a good job at flagging packages out of date to let us know about the ones we miss.
