[Solved] ctrl-alt-backspace not working

Following beginners guide, just installed openbox.
Switching to non-root user

startx

puts me into openbox. When i tried to go back to the console by hitting ctrl-alt-backspace nothing happens (Any open windows remain open, stays in openbox)
Ideas?
