libgnome

hi....
I got Arch about 1 month ago, It's great.

I'm having troubles with libgnome....
when I install libgnome, all my web browser crashes when I try to d/l something (file, image, etc.).

I tried to figure out what causes the problem but I can't get it. I'll be granted for any help.

Thank you.

Re: libgnome

what browser? what are the error messages, if any? there are alot of people that use gnome and several different browsers you can be using so narrowing it down could help.

Re: libgnome

hmm do you have a nvidia mx or tnt card? that would account for the freezing. as for the epiphany/fire-fox problem i don't know. there were a few posting about fire-fox issues. if you are sure tha libgnome is the culprit then i suggest filing a bug. i know that  fire-fox quits on me on occassion because of some sort of bug in the fire-fox code in both linux and here at work in windows. i haven't had download issues but then again i don't have any gnome items installed that i know of.
