scaling avaible frequencies

Hi, i've installed cpufreq and i loaded the modules for the governors,  and it's ok, but the frequencies avaible are wrong

[l3nko@l3nkolaptop cpufreq]$ cat scaling_available_frequencies
1401000 1400000 1200000 800000

i want delete the first freq but i recivied a message of error (I/O error), how can i do?

is it hurting the performace of your cpu?  the top level of my cpu indicates 2201000 with another at 2200000, but it doesn't effect performance at all.  If it really bothers you, you could define the max_freq="1.4GHz" in /etc/conf.d/cpufreq

Its not 'wrong', that's actually the capabilities of your CPU. Mine says 2401000 2400000 2000000 1600000 1200000 800000.

That's weird, I've noticed mine does that too.  Does anyone know why?
