About once a day, my system begins to lock up. The first symptom that I notice is that Konqueror will not load pages. At the same time, `sync` never finishes. This started happening a few weeks ago, and has persisted over a reinstall. The only way to recover seems to be a hard reboot (`reboot` locks, and the using sysreq to sync doesn't help any).
When this happens, there seems to be no information in dmesg or /var/log/*.
