[REQ] Rendezvous and Daapd

I am attempting to build Rendezvous, apples ZeroConf networking dealie and am running in to an issue I cannot get passed. It makes just fine, but when I try to install it I am told

"Make: ***No rule to target `/usr/etc/rc.d', needed by `/usr/etc/rc.d/mdns'. Stop."

I cannot figure out what to do with this and am not nearly smart enough to figure it out. If anyone wants to help out they can grab it here. (Requires Apple developer ID to download, a .mac email addy or a free signup for one is fine, or download it from my comp here.)

I am using this to set up a Linux iTunes sharing server and cannot do anything else until I finish this up.

I am also having some problems building Daapd, available here, also needed for the project so if someone wanted to take care of it.

Thanks a lot.

Re: [REQ] Rendezvous and Daapd

It's not really a solution for your problem ..., but can these apps help?

http://craz.net/programs/itunes/

mt-daapd:
sourceforge: http://sourceforge.net/projects/mt-daapd
  homepage: http://mt-daapd.sourceforge.net/index.p … e&Itemid=1

gnome has also support for zeroconf/rendzvous, but I suppose it can't browse an itunes share ...

Maybe there are other apps ...
