[SOLVED] jackd cannot find libfreebob anymore

I'm not sure what happened but jackd can no longer find libfreebob.

libfreebob is installed in /usr/lib/libfreebob.so

The only big change has been installing kernel 2.6.29.2-1
My setup has been working fine until today.

any help is always appreciated.

jackdmp 1.9.2
libfreebob 1.0.11
kernel26 x86_64

Re: [SOLVED] jackd cannot find libfreebob anymore

Is it looking for the same version as the installed one?

Also, are you using a hybrid setup (x86_64 kernel and 32 bit userland) or pure 64 bit? If it's the latter we need to move this tongue.

Re: [SOLVED] jackd cannot find libfreebob anymore

Well, the libfreebob PKGBUILD in the AUR wouldn't build with gcc4.4.  I found a patch.diff from the Fedora development cvs and posted a link in the comments here. http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=5338

The package maintainer added it in and all is good.  The library installs fine again and jackd can find the freebob driver once again.
