Sound Fn keys in fullscreen apps

Hello, when using Fn keys on my laptop in gnome everything works fine, but when I try to change volume in some fullscreen app (Warsow, WorldOfGoo, etc.) it doesn't work.
The sound keys are pain, since everytime I have to exit app and go to gnome to lower sound.
I have acpid running and all Fn keys work fine in gnome, so i think this might be hardware bind problem since brightness control works fine even in a fullscreen application.

All my Fn keys also work in openbox and xfce. But in openbox when controling sound, the same icon as in gnome is shown in the center of desktop. So it still can be controled by some part of gnome.

When pressing sound Fn key nothing is shown in log, but when pressing Fn brightness control here is the output:

May 2 14:34:05 mivvy kernel: atkbd.c: Unknown key pressed (translated set 2, code 0xf7 on isa0060/serio0).
May 2 14:34:05 mivvy kernel: atkbd.c: Use 'setkeycodes e077 <keycode>' to make it known.
May 2 14:34:05 mivvy kernel: atkbd.c: Unknown key released (translated set 2, code 0xf7 on isa0060/serio0).
May 2 14:34:05 mivvy kernel: atkbd.c: Use 'setkeycodes e077 <keycode>' to make it known.
May 2 14:34:05 mivvy logger: ACPI group/action undefined: video / LCD

Perhaps Fn keys for sound are not recognised by kernel, so only gnome controls them? If so how can I "bind" them so kernel recognise them?
Anyone can help me to get sound Fn keys working please?

Re: Sound Fn keys in fullscreen apps

*bump*
So brightness is hardware controled, but sound is not. Can it be controled when fullscreen app is launched? Like some daemon for this?
