awesome wm performance problem

Hey all,

I am loving awesome 3, got a weird thing though.
When i run a highly graphic program, like Urban Terror, the performance is actually not as good as it is when running gnome.
In fact, it is darn choppy.

Anyway, figgure i have missed something in the config, or what daemons to start, etc..

replying to me own question.

I found that the terminal i use was the difference.
I launched some apps from a urxvt and they had the performance hit, but they did just fine when run from xterm

Hmmm....sounds a lil fishy. I've never  had issue's like that using urxvt. What graphics card you run? (Though if it works fine with xterm,i still don' treally understand)
