[Closed] Compile compiz-fusion from source for more?

Can compiz-fusion be compiled for more speed Ive never heard of it done before.

EDIT: Yeah I talked to some compiz people and they basically said the same thing it turned out there was a setting on my graphics card that helped. I consider it closed.

Of course you can do it, whether it will be faster or not is debatable. If it is faster then it will be such a small gain that it, IMO, would not be worth the trouble.

The speed gain certainly will almost certainly not be noticeable. The best way would be to use ABS, which you can find instructions for in the wiki.
