Im going MAAAD! CPU Frequency Scaling only works randomly :S

Hi guys!

In the next days i will kill myself. im going mad with this problem. sometimes it works, sometimes it wont.

Righnow, is not working. look at this:

cpufrequtils 005: cpufreq-info (C) Dominik Brodowski 2004-2006
Report errors and bugs to cpufreq@vger.kernel.org, please.
analyzing CPU 0:
  driver: acpi-cpufreq
CPUs which need to switch frequency at the same time: 0
  hardware limits: 800 MHz - 2.00 GHz
available frequency steps: 2.00 GHz, 1.60 GHz, 1.33 GHz, 1.07 GHz, 800 MHz
  available cpufreq governors: ondemand, performance
current policy: frequency should be within 800 MHz and 800 MHz.
The governor "ondemand" may decide which speed to use
                  within this range.
current CPU frequency is 800 MHz (asserted by call to hardware).

Im using the default 2.6.29-ARCH.
Maybe is a bug in the kernel?

This problem also happens with my custom 2.6.29.2 kernel (Compiled today)

For frequency scaling, you have to do some things! So a little more information would be helpful. For example, how does your /etc/conf.d/cpufreq file look like? In case you haven't touched this file, comment the min_freq and max_freq values, it isn't needed to set these. Seems like you have the module acpi-cpufreq loaded, that's good. What other modules have you added to your rc.conf? And last but not least, do you have the cpufreq daemon added in the DAEMONS line in the rc.conf?
