Fluxbox :: Can't fix screen resolution...

I've tried editing my xorg.conf several times and adding options which should fix my screen resolution, but it just doesn't work.  I want my resolution at 1024x768 @ 75, but it's 1024 x 768 @ 73, and there's this big piece of the screen cut out at the left because of that. Can anybody help me fix this? If it helps to know, I use the hal dameon with Xorg.

I should have remembered that I can't use tabs in Fluxbox (I middle click on a tab and I can't drag it), then I could have given this thread a more appropriate name...

I just want to mention I've tried setting the mode using the Modes option in the "Display" blocks but that doesn't work for me. Also, I've tried using Ctrl+Alt+Keypad-(plus|minus) to switch between different modes and see if it changes to the mode I want but it doesn't.

I fixed the tabbing but I still can't fix my resolution.

Wow, I've actually solved all my own problems. I forgot to download Intel drivers for my video and vesa was messing everything up... Boy, do I feel like a noob.
