Hi smile

Works before? Or your first time that run this programs?

First try with removing/moving your configuration files "mv .stellarium .stellarium.bak" then start again.

If the problem persist, try running with strace, and see if can view some relevant messages.

Re: Stellarium, segmentation fault.

Hi.

It is my first time running stellarium. I moved the config dir, but the problem is the same.

What do you mean with "...running with strace..." How should I run the program?

Regards.

Re: Stellarium, segmentation fault.

Oh OK

Are under KDE/GNOME?  compositing effects? what is your GPU?

You can try for example running from TWM and see what happens before trying with strace?

Running with strace is "strace stellarium", you need pacman -S strace

Re: Stellarium, segmentation fault.

I am using fluxbox. No effects, nothing. I have VIA VN896 chip. Chrome 9 or something.

I don`t have 3D. There is no driver for my video card. But stellarium worked before. It was just slow. strace did not gave me usefull information.

I thing I will wait for new stellarium release. sad
