Yeah, really! haha.  That was coming from a 1280x800 screen, so I've got 50% more pixels wide and 35% more pixels tall.  I have no idea what to put there... maybe another conky window with weather and email lol.  As you can see my existing conky appears really empty now in the middle, when it used to be cramped.

It is very nice.  If you happen to have the money available, this monitor, a 21.5" HD ASUS VH226H, is still on sale for $159.99 after rebate.  It has a 2ms response time when normally monitors like this have a 5ms response time.  There is also a 23" Acer monitor for $169.99 (straight up, no rebate).  It has a 5ms response time, but that may not matter too much to you, I do not know.

Hehe. Just don't go overboard when filling it up - you'd want to avoid Information

I'm on a 24" atm, and I'm just using a plain 2+1 split

That's sad, especially since the rules of this thread does not require any particular operating system. Personally, I would recommend the Ubuntu Forums, where this isn't a big deal. (Please PM me and let me know where else you post your screenshots.)

the ob menu? its "nu" font from the artwiz-fonts package in repos.

the urxvt font is from terminus-font package from repos (font terminus), and the conky is regular sans...

Dwm 5.5

I made a few customizations, so some common tasks can sometimes be easily done with just one hand and a mouse:
On the status text -left click toggles an urxvt htop window, right click brings up a nice dzen menu app launcher, mouse wheel shrinks/expands master area, middle click brings another dzen menu, only with choices to lock screen, reboot or shutdown
On the window title - left click zooms, right click toggles floating, mouse wheel shifts focus, middle click closes window

I'm enjoying dwm immensely, I knew I should have tried it sooner...

The conky font seems fine, but the irssi font -- god, worst spacing scheme I've
ever seen!
