Hi,
I'm trying to get HDMI audio working on my Shuttle HTPC, but no luck. I have the GM45 Intel chipset.

I've tried deleting /etc/asound.state and rebooting to reset the preferences, that didn't work. I also unmuted "IEC958" "IEC958 D" and "IEC958 1" (in alsamixer).
speaker-test -Dhdmi:CARD=Intel,DEV=0 -c6 <-- this is what I've been attempting to test with, and it is not working. My receiver doesn't even "see" the source. I have tried a different receiver, as well. Both work with my PS3/Cable box over HDMI just fine, without modifying any settings (just swapping HDMI cables).
I do not have a ~/.asound or /etc/asound.conf.
Any input would be very much appreciated!
Cheers,
David
