Hi,
I have just adopted:
http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=21053
I have successfully updated the PKGBUILD locally and had added an additional patch (as mentioned by jarryson). I have tested everything locally and it's working nicely ![]()
My question: How do I update the package on the AUR? Here's the steps I had in mind:
1) Update the PKGBUILD
2) Test it locally (makepkg -g and makepkg)
3) Create the source tarball for AUR with makepkg --source
4) Upload this tarball to the AUR using 'Submit'
Now the tarball currently on the AUR is "slim-cursor.tar.gz" and the output of makepkg --source is "slim-cursor-1.3.1-4.src.tar.gz"
what happens when I submit my "slim-cursor-1.3.1-4.src.tar.gz" to the AUR? Will it properly update the current?
