Hi!
I have to test the transcription software "Express Scribe"
For what I've learned one shouldn't install software without pacman to hold the system clear. So I already created a PKGBUILD for another programm by myself but I fail with this one. Maybe it's because the developer only provides a compiled binary?
You can find a native linux version here: http://www.nch.com.au/scribe/linux.html
Thanks in advance for your help!

The tarball unpacks to a singel bash script. The bash script itself is an install script with included binary data. So on first sight I would say this is unpackagable.
On the other hand, the script itself is very badly written.

I expected something like that
I installed it via sh scribe adjusted my PATH in .bashrc and everything works.
As I said it's only for testing purposes and I gues it won't mess up my system
Thanks anyway
