acpi spams log with: ACPI group/action undefined: thermal_zone / TZ0

Hi everyone,
It  bothers me for some time now. acpi spams my log with messages like this:

May 9 09:45:50 farnsworth logger: ACPI group/action undefined: thermal_zone / TZ0

Has anyone an idea where it comes from and what I can do? I think it happens every time the fan speeds up. I can find the corresponding line in /etc/acpi/handler.sh but I don't know what it triggers. Apparently I seem to be one of two persons who have it when I search the forums.
Thanks,
david

Re: acpi spams log with: ACPI group/action undefined: thermal_zone / TZ0

It triggers nothing but that log message as it's setup now. You should add a specific case statement in that script that either does something useful, or just does nothing, so it won't log that message. Probably there isn't anything useful to do with it, so I'd just go for the "do nothing" option.

Thanks, I will try that. Unfortunately I have no idea what TZ0 or any of the other level do.
