Change pacman's default action from 'yes' to 'no' [SOLVED]

Pacman asks you for confirmation when installing or removing packages, and the default answer is 'yes' (i.e. [Y/n]). Can I switch this to 'no' ([y/N])? Feels a bit safer to me, and would be consistent with Fedora's yum.

I assume I can specify this in pacman.conf, but I don't know the syntax.
Thanks!

P.S. I just started using Arch after two years of Gentoo, and I'm totally amazed. Every package I've installed is the latest upstream release, and pacman is so far ahead of portage it's not even fair.

I don't believe there's an actual configuration for this - I can't find any in man pacman.conf

Maybe file a feature request (bugs link at the top of the site, choose the 'pacman' project on FlySpray)

I had a look through man and agree...it seems like a change that you would have to do to pacman itself...unless I'm missing something obvious...

And of course, welcome aboard! Glad you're enjoying Arch so far!

Seriously though, not a bad idea.
